Signet Christian School is committed to educating and inspiring its students from the basis of the Christian worldview, promoting high moral standards and practical life skills, while aiming for excellence in academics and the arts.
It was founded as Scarborough Christian School in 1974 by a group of committed parents who wanted their children, and those of other families in the community, to receive a quality education. The school is dedicated to maintaining high academic standards, together with an underlying Christian philosophy that promotes good morals and good life skills. It was, and continues to be, a nondenominational, nonprofit, charitable organization, with a board of directors appointed by the members of the organization.
Located in the exciting Greater Toronto Area (GTA), at a readily accessible site in North York, the school provides a continuous program from Junior Kindergarten right through to Grade 12. This continuity across the elementary and secondary levels allows the school to function as one community.
